if ya go to radio shack, u should be able to get a free cue cat, its a little bar code reader made by digital convergience, that radio shack is giving away with their catalogs. Pierre-Philippe Coupard from lineo has already released a driver/software/kernel patch for its use under linux. if u need/want it, goto freshmeat, and search for cuecat
