#127 MEDIA added as wrong type

jay found that MP allows you to add a photo as a video, and a movie as a sound, but he couldn't add a sound as a photo.

The problem with this is that inexperienced users may accidentally add the wrong file type and wonder why it's not displaying correctly.

Is it possible to make the system clever enough to understand what type of media is being added, ie recognise the file type (and therefore have one button for "add new media"). This would be the simplest from the user perspective and would be really neat.

Jay has advised that .mov can be both vid and sound, but unusual to use for sound.

If not possible, could we have an error generated when you try to add an incorrect media type?
