) and acutally your use of jena involves that (http://www.hpl.hp.com/semweb/download.html). Probably a seperate thread better and hence a seperate discussion.

Yes, having spent the last 5 years working with agent technology I am very familiar with the semantic web initiative. :)
I deliberately chose RDF for the Memento taxonomy so my knowledge base (memebase) would be easy to integrate with other SW applications. The idea was to improve on standard RSS streams, which don't contextual semantic information.
