Hello my name is David,
I'm trying to create a script to obtain some data in ASCII vectors format, but I can't export the data properly. I get the data in the console without or default format, but I can't export it as ASCII vectors file.dat.

Can anyone help me please?

  Hi. Which tool? If you are able to get a plot, you'll find a couple of ASCII export functions in the menu of the plot window. If you need further help, please provide a reproducible snippet.

    Firts, thanks for the answer.
    
    The tool is Density Profile tool, and the problen is that I don't wont to export data from the menu. I need to create a script to do it automatically. Since now, I've got the data on the tcl console in VMD, but I can't exported to a file.dat in ASCII vectors format. And I just obteined the disordered data in the console.
