Bundles Portable Python (with PyGTK) and Meld together in an easy to use installer. This allows you to not have to worry about setting up Python or PyGTK and you can keep Meld's Python separate from other Python installations on your machine.
** NOTE **
Meld 3.11 and later now have official installers, hence this project is no longer supported. You can download the new installer here: https://download.gnome.org/binaries/win32/meld/. You should uninstall the old 1.8 version before upgrading.

So I read reviews about Meld and was impressed. I went to their official site to download it, however, one has to install the following to meet the minimum requirements: Requirements: • Python 2.7 • GTK+ 3.14 • GLib 2.36 • PyGObject 3.14 • GtkSourceView 3.14 I thought, "ugh" too time consuming; then I stumbled across this complete install package on Sourceforge bundled by Keegan Witt. Thank you Sir, you are awesome! Installed like a charm. This freeware comparison tool ROCKS and it was built with the developer in mind yet it is intuitive enough for a PC Tard to use. The tool allows you to compare and meld 3 files folders or version control at once...can't say enough about this and the gobs of time it has saved me.....TY Meld and Keegan!
