I'm back into implementing weapons!

Anyways, what I have here was used to test the Ant building through my spanking new Eclipse 3.3 SDK. It works perfectly! The weapon also works perfectly!

The clan heavy cannon is a 50 ton artillery piece with an extremely long range and is able to deliver a 100 point damage shell with a blast radius of 8 hexes using the Maximum Tech artillery rules.

There is one shot of ammunition per ton.

Use CLHeavyCannon and CLHeavyCannon Ammo to use this weapon. Don't try to mount this in 'mechs, for it generates 50 points of heat and takes up a whopping 50 critical slots.

Enjoy!

I just noticed something interesting. When I deploy the unit off-board at 340 some hexes, it takes about 3 turns for the shell to arrive. I thought the game would hang, but I guess it's just a feature of the high-velocity gun :-D

This seems like something the clans, above all else, WOULDN'T develop.

Did you really have to necrobump a feature request for a custom unofficial weapon from 8 years ago for a minor comment?

I'm surprised this is still on the system! Wow. I will be closing this patch as there are now canon weapons that accomplish the same thing.
