Big patch as I don't yet know how to split it via eclipse (is it possible??). And I can't select individual files as I could with svn so... sorry Hammer
I'm not sure with git and eclipse, but I do know that svn can still be used even though we have switched to git. Sourceforge (and git, too) can interface with svn without problems, just look at the svn tab. And patches from svn can be used in git.

I don't know about anyone else, but I always just used patch to apply patches, which has nothing to do with svn or git, so how you generate a patch doesn't matter all that much (although git tends to generate nicer diffs than svn).
