There is a station that I listen to at work that only streams in OGG format. They recently switched from mp3 stream to totally ogg stream. You'd think that realplayer or windows-media-player would play ogg streams, but they don't. This patch really works great for me as my office uses Windows2000 and I didn't want to have to fool around with using a different media player.

Unfortunately, development on this great filter has stopped :( ... the author of it decided to develop it for his own, private use only, on his PC at home.
There is another, alternative filter to it to e found here : http://tobias.everwicked.com , but if MediaXW works fine for you and doesnt give you any problems .... perfect :) !!!!

the author hasn't done any work on it for 1.5 years now, not even on his PC at home. And the author feels good with this.
