Hi

I would like to see a tag in the config.xml tag that manage the log file.
The only way to add a log file to mediatomb is by adding the flag --logfile or -f to the command line when starting mediatomb.

<log-file maxsize="20000">
</log-file>

This tag will manage the log file in the background, if the log file have been specified.

maxsize is the maximum size of the log file before mediatomb empty the log file.

By doing this, it is possible to let mediatomb keep the logfile on a decent size and the user does not have to check it regular to see if it, of some reasons, have exploded in size.

When mediatomb empty the logfile it should write something like this into the log file at the begining of the newly erased log file

Automatically erased by mediatomb on XXXXXXXXXXXX

Live well
/Stefan
