I am running mediatomb from a 64-bit Debian 6.0 box with a GNU/Linux kernel version of 2.6.
I am able to connect to the MT DLNA server and play .MP3 or .M3U files without a problem through both my receiver (Onkyo TX-NR509) and my PS3. However, between the moment I hit "play" and when I actually hear the track start, there is about a 10 to 15 second pause. This also occurs when an album is playing; one track ends, a 10-15 second pause occurs, then the following track starts. I am able to connect to my Debian server through NFS on my desktop and play .MP3s without any sort of pause that I experience going through MT.
Did I miss something in the MT configuration files? Or is there a Debian system setting which is causing this gap or pause?
Thanks in advance!
