1.I have installed mediatomb on my headless Debian with following command:
apt-get install mediatomb
2.To make mediatomb working with mkv file without message "File not supported" on my TV I had to change /etc/mediatomb/config.xml file by replace this line:
<map from="mkv" to="video/x-msvideo"/>
to this line:
<map from="mkv" to="video/mpeg"/>
3.I have used web interface (port 49152) to add content to library
Now I can see DLNA server in my Samsung TV but unfortunatelly I can't get to work srt subtitles with mkv movies. I have found some patch which might solve problem but I don't know how to install it.
Here is link to patch:
Is there any solution which could solve my problem?
