I am attempting to have mediatomb stream .mkv and .m2ts files to my WD TV Live device. It streams ISO files (full dvd's) just fine, but is there an example of how to add these filetypes to the config.xml? I do not need transcoding support for either of these, as the WD Live can play these files from a samba share.
Does the WD TV support mkv natively, I think it does?
Do you have those lines in your config.xml in your extension-mimetype section?
<map from="mkv" to="video/x-matroska"/>
<map from="mka" to="audio/x-matroska"/>
Make sure to reimport the mkv files afterwards.
