    Hi,

I have a Storex NAS-351 and I want to use it with a D-Link DSM-320. I don't know if my NAS support Mediatomb and how to install it.

The info I can give are
1/ the Linux version runnning on it :
      BusyBox v1.00-pre2 (2007.01.15-01:49+0000) Built-in shell (msh)

2/ The Storex firmware version :
    Microcode STOREX
    Version: 2.0 RC20
    Source Tag: code 2.0 RC20 +  GUI@1515
Date du Microcode: Wed Jan 17 19:53:40 CST 2007

Many thanks in advance for your help.

    Kind regards.

So I assume you managed to gain shell access to the box?

I could probably crosscompile some stuff for you, but I will have to match your glibc version,
can you check which glibc version it is running?

Btw, did Storex release any GPL code or the toolchain or anything like that? Might be helpful.

      Kind regards,
      Jin

The only way I found to update the  firmware is on a "upload" http page.

I have a telnet access to the NAS but I'm not really familiar with it.
So, here they are the available commands.
      ## Built-in commands:
break cd continue eval exec exit export help login newgrp read readonly set shift times trap umask wait

For the glibc version I don't know how to find it.... if you have any idea...

      Many thanks for your help.

      Kind regards.

telnet to the NAS and use the "ls" command to list contents of directories, look in /lib or /usr/lib, or even better, paste me the output of "ls /lib" and "ls /usr/lib", this should tell us what libraries are there.

also, I'd be interested to see the output of "uname -a", of "cat /proc/cpuinfo" and of "cat /proc/meminfo"

      thanks,
      Jin

You need an IRC client (for example Gaim), use it to connect to chat.freenode.net, then join the #mediatomb channel.
