As part of my home network, I have an MRT Communication 35HD Dual NAS (SATA) (http://www.mrt-communication.com/35HD-DUAL-NAS.htm) which can contain MediaTomb as part of its firmware; I also have a BT Voyager Digital Media Player (http://www.voyager.bt.com/broadband_devices/voyager_dmp/product_info.htm), amongst other devices (PCs and a Mac).
The BT Voyager DMP requires the Client Application (Windows software) to be running on a PC in order to operate; the Client Application is not available in other formats, and is no longer being developed.
Is it possible to use MediaTomb on the 35HD Dual NAS to stream audio (mp3) files to the BT Voyager DMP without using the Client Application on a PC?
Any ideas gratefully received.

Are you saying that they offer a prepared MT package for their device, or is there simply a community firmware for it/ssh access? Please tell me more :>
Regarding the BT Voyager: I fear I can't do much there, I looked at the user manual and it seems that they are not using UPnP, but have some special proprietary protocol.
Thanks for your reply, it is much appreciated!
MediaTomb can be installed onto the 35HD Dual NAS (SATA) via Optware - http://mrt.nas-central.org/index.php/Optware.
I hope this helps, thanks again.
