Hello,
my TV Samsung LE32C550J1W does not see mediatomb 0.11.

There is a parameter protocolInfo extend = "yes" in the config.
Well, according to the mediatomb's code this parameter must adjust returns X_DLNA tag to the player (through http://mediatomb_ip:port/configuration.xml\), based on what the player understands what he sees DLNA-device and, accordingly, displays it on the list. I'm setting this parameter (protocolInfo extend = "yes") nothing changes. The player does not see mediatomb.

I compared with Samsung PC_ShareManager and Twonky 6.30 - so they give X_DLNA to the player.

Question to the developers?

Victor.

It should be X_DLNADOC tag instead of X_DLNA

And this is a upnp_xml.cc source file.

I have a Samsung C series TV as well. You need to do more than setting extended protocol info for it to work. See my working config.xml at http://pastebin.com/04YWzuix

If you cannot see the server at all, your network settings might be to blame. Make sure that both TV and the PC running mediatomb are in the same subnet.
