#103 Failure to Import

I am setting up a media import of MP3 files and the directory is under the following name:
/samba/Music/Holiday/The Essential Christmas Crooners (3cd) [Box set, Collector's Edition, Limited Edition]mp3-320k by The Stig@Torent Force

every mp3 contained within that directory fails to import saying the file does not exist.
It retrieves the file list correctly but fails to import into the database.

Easily recreated. if I make the directory just The essential Christmas Crooners the import works fine.
