The MPEG2 files created by my Sony camcorder show some "Delay relative to video" when opened in a video editor (eg. Sony Vegas) but play OK in VLC. Apparently, this shift is introducted on purpose "to compensate for the delay in processing the video part of their file."
Is there an easy way to correct this shift without re-encoding the files? Ideally, I'm looking for a solution available on Windows.
