When the app is in full screen, and when video thumbnails are set to XL size, i think they should be bigger.
Video cards are in landscape format (like our computer monitors) so if you have 2 cards per line they shouldn't be cutted.

I imagine the size distribution change more like that:
XS: 12 per line -> 12 per line
S: 9 per line -> 8 per line
M: 8 per line -> 6 per line
L: 7 per line -> 4 per line
XL: 6 per line -> 2 per line

But the best would be to change the XS -> XL scale by a "number of thumbnail per line" scale.
It could be applied to every pages offering size changes for elements.
