Medi 0.3.2 released

A new version of Medi is online. Now it displays different icons on different file types (I think I need to put more icons and mappings...). Now it uses only one connection to the DB to work.
Medi is a Java application useful to manage files in your CDs, floppies, etc. It can parse MP3 files, cataloguing them by author, genre and data, and can display (preview) some picture types. It uses a database (currently supported DBs are MySQL, Firebird and PostgreSQL) to store the data.

Medi 0.3.0 released

A new version of Medi is online! It's internal structure has been modified to accomodate a new pseudo-server: MediX (PHP based). Some bug fixing. Notice that you have to use MediX for research purposes only. Download only the main package if you don't need it.
PostgreSQL now works correctly with UTF-8 encoded databases.

Medi 0.2.2 released with an installer!

The new version of Medi, 0.2.2, is online with an installer. Now you can install the program with a nice GUI, thanks to VAInstall (http://vainstall.sourceforge.net). Installation with Firebird is easier: now you don't have to create the user or the database file (Linux and Windows 9x, other Windows systems are untested).

Medi 0.2.0 released (at last...)

A new version of Medi is online. It contains several GUI-related bug fixing (enormous trees and combo boxes...), and a better panel-loading: now panels are loaded only if they are requested at least one time. Major changes have been made to the internal structure, creating several subpackages for rationalization.

Configuration tables have been transferred into configuration local files, to reduce database rage. By running MediUpdater.jar, included in the package, the new version of the database will be installed. No data will be lost. Medi has a faster GUI

The new version 0.1.90 of Medi is online.
It has got a new faster (parallel) GUI, now you can browse trees while requesting a details page.
It is a pre-release to 0.2.0 version, in which the GUI will be completely multi-threading. Anyway 0.1.90 is better than 0.1.3!

Medi 0.1.1a online (and its docs)

Only (!) added PostgreSQL support. It has some bugs, but I swear that it's not my fault. Special characters are handled incorrectly so use it at your own risk.
Also documentation has been updated.
