apologies

ok, i've been working fairly hard to get this new version working, and i learned a very valuable lesson.

never make drastic changes without checking your work as you go. i've had so many bugs in this new version it's not even funny.

for some reason, when i try to create a logfile, i get some seriously MESSED UP stuff going on. it dumps core all the time, and im failing retrieving the local time. nothing was changed, it just decided not to work.

i swear, im really working on this to try and get the update out as soon as possible.

i've had several people inquire about the programming job, yet no one seems to want to reply to an email. this is getting real hard to do alone. i need help, if you're serious about helping and you qualify (read the job posting), PLEASE email me. it's SOOOOO very frustrating debugging bugs like forgetting that argc includes the program name. i spent a good hour till i realized that.

anyhoo, work is being done, but slowly because im still doing it alone. please be patient.
