0.2.5 committed

0.2.5 is now comitted to the cvs and is the principle trunk for the project. Official release will be made on the 31 as prommised, though slightly less documented then I had hoped(my laptop crashed taking most of the documentation with it). I will try and get some up as soon as possible

0.2.5 chosen for CONFERENCE simulation

Dr. Robert Montante of the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has informed the measj team that he has chosen measj as the library to implement his AD-Hoc processor core. This implementation will be displayed as part of his poster presentation at the Association for Computing Machinery's Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education's National Conference in Norfolk, Virginia USA from March 3-7 2004.

WARNING: FUTURE INCOMPATIBILITY(API change)

for future expandability, the API for data storage( I.E. Registers and Memory Locations) Has been rewritten. Note this will permentantly break components in the 2.0 Release and anything written for 2.0 will be completely incompatible with anything else above 2.0. I apologize for the inconvienence but the new features that will be implemented because of the change will more than make up for it, I promise.

0.2.5 Release

It is that time of year again(well for the first time anyway). Yes, it is about time to unveil an intermediate release of MEASJ.

Items of Note are:

* The interleavings acutally work they way they are supposed to :)
* logical design changes to the core frame work and components, but no API changes rest assured

We are slating official release at the end of January, and no NO CVS commits have been made yet, so dont go snooping :)... read more
