[mdb-dev] API Documentation

So I know this sounds like a wussy question, but is there any 
documentation for the various MDB API calls? I know I could look
at the source for the included tools, however this work is for a 
comercial product, and the tools are GPL, while the library is LGPL,
so technically looking at the GPL tools for examples on how to use the 
API could be considered derived work.

I am of course willing and able to share and enhancements / bug fixes I 
make to the MDB tools library, it is just that including GPL code
in a comercial product gets my upper management nervous. Pointers and 
advice are greatly appreciated!
