    Mo Kelly - 2006-08-21

    I am running Suse 10 (32bit), PHP 5 with iODBC because I need to access a Pervasive Database and as of now thier client will not work with unixODBC.  I have the MDB gui working but I cannot seem to compile MDBTools using --with-iodbc=/usr/lib directive.  I get the following during ./configure.

    bti-intranet:/usr/src/packages/SOURCES/mdbtools-0.5 # ./configure --with-sql --with-iodbc=/usr/lib

    Yet I get no libmdbodbc.so in /usr/local/lib?

    I must have missed an important directive or I do not have files where they should be.  Thanks. - Mo

    I am having a similar issue but my errors are much fewer than yours.  If I find the solution to my issue I will post it in my thread, which is similarly named to this one.  While looking through the source, I remembered that in C you have to prototype functions so I added the function declaration part near the top of the odbc.c file.  You should see a bunch of static function declarations without anything defiled as to what the functions do.  I added this in that section:
    static void bind_columns(struct _hstmt *stmt);

    Hope this helps some.  This will get rid of your errors complianing about line 201 and 768.
