    untar contents to /usr/local/mdbackup/
    run /usr/local/mdbackup/Mdutils/install-Mdutils-module.bash
    run /usr/local/mdbackup/Mdutils/install-perl-modules.psh
run /usr/local/mdbackup/mdbackup-setup and read it. you can rerun it if you like.
    then when you're ready
    run /usr/local/mdbackup/mdbackup-gursh.psh
check /var/log/mdbackup/today/operations.log and others for results.

and here's the doco that's nearly complete :) The install doco assumes you're using svn for the install which you guys aren't, so use the tarball install instruction above. otherwise it's the same deal. I'll fix up the doco soon enough.

and also some doco for end users; ie mainly for staff doing healthchecking/restores. it's much higher level, and talks about how the nagios integration stuff works from the users perspective.

<gryphon> I don't know that knowing anything about plumb turns you
into a nerd, but this conversation already has
<hoolio> are you calling me nerdy?
