The wiki uses Markdown syntax.
untar contents to /usr/local/mdbackup/
run /usr/local/mdbackup/Mdutils/install-Mdutils-module.bash
run /usr/local/mdbackup/Mdutils/install-perl-modules.psh
run /usr/local/mdbackup/mdbackup-setup and read it. you can rerun it if you like.
then when you're ready
run /usr/local/mdbackup/mdbackup-gursh.psh
check /var/log/mdbackup/today/operations.log and others for results.
full doco is coming, it's already 80% written I just need to post it here.
and here's the doco that's nearly complete :) The install doco assumes you're using svn for the install which you guys aren't, so use the tarball install instruction above. otherwise it's the same deal. I'll fix up the doco soon enough.
and also some doco for end users; ie mainly for staff doing healthchecking/restores. it's much higher level, and talks about how the nagios integration stuff works from the users perspective.
