#16 Easier to find library file

I've just compiled libmcrypt from source, and found it surprisingly hard to find the actual library file, or object file. I'm not sure about others, but if I don't have root on a system, I just compile wanted packages from source and use it. I only found out that calling "make" puts said files in the "lib/.libs", after reading the test scripts in src. It would be helpful I think to at least put a symbolic link to their location (both the .so and the .o files) in the main directory to make them more locatable since not everyone compiles them with the intent of installing them to the system.

Thanks.
