    Hey Everyone,

I'm running a model that requires a long time to converge. Unfortunately, my computer sporadically shuts down or re-starts itself, so I run short chains and append the results to a .txt file using the last.values from the previous run as the starting values for the next. However, when doing so the first few runs work nicely, but then JAGS crashes and reports the following error message "Non-conforming parameters in function inprod". The confusing thing is that I never use the function "inprod" in my model file, so I'm not exactly sure what is going wrong. Any ideas???

    Thanks

The forum software won't let me move posts between forums so we are stuck here.

I don't see how you can get an error message from a function you are not using. I have double-checked the sources to make sure the message is not coming from somewhere else.

It looks like you have some memory corruption problems, possibly related to the fact that your computer keeps crashing ...
