Did you try the RUN.bat instructions on the how to page? Also, what are your computer specs (Java Version, OS, 32/64 bit)?
out of memory ?
please try the suggestions in the section on Run Errors and then post a description of any errors that still occur. https://sourceforge.net/p/mchungergen/wiki/Run%20Errors/

Hi !
I've got "ERROR: Could not get invoke method of world generator".
I set 20Go (of my 32Go) of memory to java (the last 64x version)... Maybe it's to high for java ?
Thanks a lot for this generator, I played a lot with it on my older computer.
I'm not sure what would cause that, maybe it is too high. Try running the generator with no memory options and generate a small (300x300) map to see if it works.
I get the same thing, it seems to be related to the number of players. The result of this error is that only the land is generated. There is nothing on the plateau that is added after the land mass is created. i.e no bedrock starting platform, no bedrock map limits, no chests.
This is the output given after the error (when run 'command line'). it is then followed by some java out put exceptions and what not.
Schematic "center4" not found.
This is what is thrown for a 4 player map. Obviously the schematic that is not found changes based on the number of player it cannot generate.
I extracted the .zip file with no problems, however the Map Generator still wont show the default generator. The generator folder is there, but the generators are not showing up
And you have the Default.jar in the generators folder? Also, what OS/architecture/Java version are you running?
hi my problem is that when i start the run.bat the programm wont show those pictures its just a grey window
Can someone help me?
Is your Run.bat in the same location as your HGMG.jar?
For all having problems with a blank generators page, try updating and let me know if you still have problems. Please post v1.03 somewhere so I know you are using the latest version. Thanks!
yo i extracted it and everything and then i ran the HGMG.jar and got everything perfectly. all the map types were there. so i clicked on default and then the screen that says choose generation settings came up with no settings at all. it simply said choose generation settings and everything was blank underneath. is this a common error and how can i fix?
What OS are you on, Java version, HGMG version? Any details can help since I can't tell what the problem is. If you run with the RUN.bat do any errors come up?
I am having the issue of the main window showing no generators. I tried moving the files to different locations to see if the program was looking in the wrong location, but that did not help. Strangely, although the main window is blank, the command line example worked fine. This was on a 32 bit installation of windows 7. I tried HGMG on a 64bit windows 7 computer and everything ran fine.
Currently HGMG works on only 1 of the computers I have tried it on, excluding the command line example, which works on all. The issue is that the Generator Picker window is empty. There are no errors output when using the run.bat file, and the window is not forzen or unresponsive. When running your source code in Dr.Java, 9 errors were detected, and 2 were related to "revalidate()" being undefined for the Jframe in the main Generator Picker window. All the computers that HGMG has not run on are using Java 6, and the one that worked is using Java 7, and that computer also gave me no source errors when running from source.
EDIT: Apparently minimizing and restoring the window fixes the problem.

THANK YOU! This bug has been annoying people for ages and nobody could give me more info than "it shows up blank". Thanks for going the extra mile and checking multiple comps and Java versions, I have uploaded 1.07 and this problem should be fixed.
I am glad to help. I love your map generator, it has so much potential!
