I am having huge difficulties getting McDPF installed on a USB drive.
I have figured that it needs 2 partitions - one FAT (>200Mb) and another for Linux. I get DSL installed from the embedded version, load your backup and run the install script.
I have had to comment out the Samba line as there seem to be missing dependencies that halt the script at this point. I hope this does not affect the install.
The script then works but when it reboots does not load Apache, nor does it remember the WLAN settings.
I am left with thelovely pic of the misty trees, but little else.
I notice that the backup has been inhibited, but given that the system is running from ramdisk, is this not still needed to save the new configuration?
I would be so grateful for some help on this. I am not a Linux expert, but have a basic knowledge of it.
