#50 processing speed in windows

I have run the latest version on Windows 7 pc with 32gb of RAM. To process one LAS file with 9 mill points took my computer 3 hrs and 20 minutes. Most lidar files are much bigger than 9 mill points. Are there any possibilities of speeding up the processing speed of MCC-LIDAR? The results are good, but too long for anything other than researchers to work on small datasets I think.
