I'd like to use mcc-lidar under Fedora and/or Ununtu linux distros. Does
anyone have experience with compiling mcc-lidar under these operating systems?

Others have compiled and run mcc-lidar successfully in Ubuntu, so it's worth trying. Unfortunately, I haven't done that myself, and I'm on Windows, so I can't offer you specific advice on how to proceed. Another steward of MCC-LIDAR on SourceForge who did this in the past is out of the country at the moment. Perhaps someone else on this Discussion group can help?
