Read Me

This is an unofficial collection of patches for mbm-gpsd. 
It is not intended to replace the official (unmaintained) version of mbm-gpsd but to 
add support for Debian (and Debian derived) distributions and the Ericsson H5321 module.

These patches work for me but the usual disclaimers apply. 

If you want to install on Debian and Debian derived distributions apply the 
mbm-gpsd-debian+h5321.patch to the official mbm-gpsd source. 

If you want to use the assisted GPS feature apply the mbm-gps-control.patch to the 
official mbm-gps-control source.

If you do not know how apply patches, it's about time you learned. Google is a great resource.

If any of these patches break your system you get to keep the parts, you use these 
patches at your own risk.

Finally, please do not ask for support as I do not have the time and I am not a C programmer.
