&lt;p&gt;If you are using the GLSL shaders option (currently available in SVN code), update your drivers if you have problems with shader compilation/linking. There is a problem with NVIDIA release 256 (there are also some similar reported problems with ATI drivers). Check this &lt;a class="" href="http://www.mail-archive.com/osg-users@lists.openscenegraph.org/msg42803.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;thread&lt;/a&gt; in the OSG mailing list for more information.
