Currently investigating the Mandrake installer, and what it might take to adapt it to the InceptionOS way of doing things. It may not be quite trivial. Also need someone who knows how to package an install CD. Now that I'm investigating things, it _might_ actually be quicker to just write Bourne/bash scripts invoking the dialog utility, as Slackware does. Given time, I may be able to whip up some form of demo this weekend. Also...I'm working on scrounging parts for an x86 compile host. Basically planning a 1u 1GHz P3 about as small or smaller than a Cobalt RaQ. That should be enough horsepower to do near-daily Gestation builds. -- Kelledin "If a server crashes in a server farm and no one pings it, does it still cost four figures to fix?" |
