This is a package decision I'd like to throw out to you guys. Up until now, I've been planning to include both KDE 3 and KDE=20 2.2.2. Right now I just have KDE 3.0.2 (soon to become 3.0.3),=20 and lately, I've found that it does just about everything better=20 than KDE 2.2.2. Even the memory footprint is smaller (now THAT=20 impressed me!) Plus, KDE 3 looks almost exactly like KDE 2 with=20 just the default theme, and with appropriate theming, it's near=20 impossible to spot a difference between the two. I'm finding=20 less and less reason to include both versions. So what do you guys think? Include KDE 2.2.2, or ditch it=20 completely in favor of KDE 3? -- Kelledin "If a server crashes in a server farm and no one pings it, does=20 it still cost four figures to fix?" |
