I've prepared a first draft of the initrd format specification I=20
plan to use. It would be nice if we all go over this, point out=20
deficiencies, possible enhancements, etc. Once we're reasonably=20
satisfied with it, Terry can convert it to DocBook SGML and host=20
an online release at inceptionos.org. ;)
One thing the document mentions is a customized /sbin/init=20
executable. I'll probably develop this in a couple of days, as=20
I've done something very similar before. I also plan to have an=20
driver-pack format documented soon...
