Enrico, Just wondering, what is your caffinated drink of choice, because you're always mentioning caffine?! :) I'll have to get someone with a fast connection and a burner to download and burn me a copy of the ISO when you're both done with the initial version. Also, I just wanted to note, that the download version of RH7.3 can fit on two CDs, do you think that is possible to do with our distro eventually or is it possible to do it now; eventually will probably have to add more ISOs for extra stuff. Enrico, Jolt is my favourite, as me and a friend bought a case of 24 cans of it and watched movies all night a few years ago...although I am so used to the caffine it doesn't keep me awake anymore. Red Bull, don't know that one...where can you get it because I live in Canada? I know the following: 'It's possible without problems because the installer loads in RAM.' Is an answer to my question, but can you please explain it more...I'm tired as I didn't get a good nights sleep; so I am in my brain doesn't want to work properly mode. :) Michael On Fri, 23 Aug 2002 18:34:16 +0200 (CEST), "Enrico Kern" <ph...@h0...> said: > Hi, > >=20 > > Just wondering, what is your caffinated drink of choice, because you'= re > > always mentioning caffine?! :) >=20 > Jolt Cola, Coffee, Tee with guarana, Red Bull (i can trink tons of this= =20 > stuff) > =20 > > I'll have to get someone with a fast connection and a burner to > > download and burn me a copy of the ISO when you're both done with the > > initial version. After select (partioning, init) the installationtarget it will be mounted under /mnt/target so you can change cds.. and load alternate rpm packages. Actually, I just thought of asking this today...should have asked before -- if I would have thought of it a few days ago -- anyeverhow.... With the installer, do we have a choice of which filesystem we want to be installed for the OS to use? Hopefully we do...that's one of the things I planned for. I put=20 in all necessary packages for managing XFS, ReiserFS, ext2, and=20 ext3. Once we get a kernel with built-in JFS support, I'll=20 include the necessary packages for managing JFS.
