Greetings, just found out i was added a few days ago and have been trying to catch up.
Unfortunantly, thier doesn't seem to be any clear plans, or at least that i have found.
One thing that does seem to be clear is the coice of a graphical system, i however don't use a graphical system, don't need a graphical system and as it happens don't want one either.
This got me thinking(yes it hurt), wouldn't it be great if it where divided into parts.
Clear? i doubt it.
So here it is, at the core could reside the base system, perhaps LBS(?), then the next level of tools(shell based), joe, midnight commander, lynx, netcat, etc.
Then maybe a server errm part with the obvious. Then a graphical part Xwindows, K.D.E., gnome...
Now that i think of it i think i've ripped it of from muLinux and it's use of addons, yet wouldn't it be great on a larger scale.
I'm not happy with the current orginization for most distributions, and i use debian which is the most orginized i've found.
There are many possibilities for this, and i'm not finished with the idea, any thoughts?
