Hi,
Would it be possible to completely hide the tray icon via an option entry as well? It just takes space and normally the application is invoked via a hotkey anyway. I'm really talking about the tray icon, I know that I can already remove the taskbar entry via "[ ] Show in taskbar".

Thanks!

    Hi,

I don't know what version of Windows you are using but can't you just hide it using Windows? In Windows 10 - Settings it is called "Taskbar Notification Area", under the "Notification Section" click on "Select which icons appear on the taskbar". You can also drag it and a little square will pop-up and then drop it on that. Of course this only works if you turn off "Always show all icons in the notification area".

    Is this good enough?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Server 2019 but I'm using "Always show all icons" and I would like to keep it that way. I only have icons / apps in that place that require some sort of interaction and all other are able to hide their icon ;-)

    Regards,
    Jack
