#93 "Edit"-Mode to control multiple View-settings with one toggle...

When I want to edit my buttons, I first need to disable "View|Autohide" as well as "Hide empty Buttons" and "Center On Screen".
It would be nice if that was easier - perhaps by selecting an Alternate Mode, which had distinct settings for all "View"-Options. Then one could just select the other mode in order to change these settings all at once (or a hardcoded "Edit" mode which would set those appropriately...)

I never have used the "Hide empty Buttons".

But how it works at the moment it have like you say too much disadvantages.

    What could make it great:

    1. When drag and drop a item to MaxLauncher (or within MaxLauncher) then it shows the buttons to place something to it (in that case no need to disable and re-enable the hide option).
    2. A hotkey (and maybe a button in the options) that activates/deactivates the edit mode (no autohide, show all buttons)

Check [View] - [Drag and Drop Mode] when editing and uncheck when you are done.

allows a user to be able to drag and drop items. When checked, the menu items below are temporarily disabled.

    1. Auto Hide
    2. Always on Top
    3. Center on Screen
    4. Lock GUI
    5. Hide Empty Tab Buttons

Okay, that is the button what i mean with 2. But not work with a hotkey (like F11 or F12), but it works with Alt+V->D.

But i think 1. would be the real improvement, not 2.

For me, i will still use it until then without "Hide empty Buttons", because to switch everytime Drag and Drop mode and back cost too much time/efficency.

THANKS, I browsed the help....but somehow completely missed the purpose of D&D-Mode :(

Yet...#2 would be the topping on the ice ;) (Yikes, if we had a way to call "internal commands" like this through any button - that would really be uber-ultra-cool! ;-))

What do you mean by "internal commands"? Like dir or copy ?

If that's what you are looking for...

        Try this...

        Target: cmd
        Arguments: /K dir

What do you mean by "internal commands"?

I was thinking of View > "Drag & Drop Mode". If I could assign THAT to a button, I'd save another keypress ;-)
