Version 1.3.0.0 portable has two noticeable repetitious/ongoing, i.e., not intermittent flaws.
    1 -
    2 -

    1) An Error popup at: Menu\Data, when Selecting\Opening an Organize Data File in my list of Data Files. Data File does not open, using this option.
Error Reads as follows: Picture attached is of this error, however error pop-up is with every data file:

    System.Exception: Error opening file \Active Apps\Data Files\MaxLauncher\Current Work (Jerry).mld. ---> System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Active Apps\Data Files\MaxLauncher\Current Work (Jerry).mld'.
    at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy, Boolean useLongPath, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access)
    at MaxLauncher.TabControlData.Open(String filename)
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---
    at MaxLauncher.TabControlData.Open(String filename)
    at MaxLauncher.MainWindow.FileOpen(String filename)
    at MaxLauncher.MainWindow.DataFileItem_Click(Object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)

    2) MaxLauncher Tab Button will not accept its own MaxLauncher.exe icon, not of a picture file of it either. I painted/drew my own M icon (tiff, pgn, jpeg)and it would not accept it either, i.e., neither as an icon (ico file), nor as a picture file. However, other miscellaneous icons are accepted, is very frustrating with all attempts made...

For the #1 Menu\Data error, I think you have your MaxLauncher.exe (portable) in C: drive right now and it used to be on D: drive. When using the portable version, the file/directory paths do not include the drive letter. They are all replaced with the drive letter where the MaxLauncher.exe is started. With the portable mode, you cannot simply move MaxLauncher.exe to a different drive. You also need to move the files/directories being referenced while maintaining the same directory structure. The portable version is really intended to be used on a USB or external drive but can still be used on a fixed drive. You have two options:

      Option 1:
      1. Move your portable MaxLauncher directory to where it was, I'm guessing D: drive. All should work as before.

Option 2 (please make a copy of the files before you edit them):
      1. Keep the current portable MaxLauncher directory in C: drive but you have to either move all things referenced in D: drive to C: drive OR change their references in app.cfg and all .mld files.
      2. Close MaxLauncher before you edit files. Then open them in Notepad and replace all "\Active Apps\Data Files" to "D:\ActiveApps\Data Files" for example.

As for the icon problem, I need more information. Are there any error messages? I tried all combinations and also your MaxLauncher.tif picture and they all worked.
