first about the visibility of the gui, do we have to have ML visible to be
able to use shortcuts ?
I mean if ML is minimized, we cant use our shortcuts ? (f0tof10)
Because for now I cant use f9 for example when ML is not visible wich is
annoying in my opinion.
then in your QuickStart tutorial you say to activate the program with CTRL+`
I tried it but nothing,
do you mean this shortcut is to make ML visible ? or to activate shortcuts ?
To resume, my main problem is to, if it is possible, use ML without to have
to make it appear on the screen, with CTRL+ù (but still running on the
notification zone or taskbar)
The default hotkey is CTRL + ` (CTRL + ~), this hotkey makes ML visible. Make sure you are not using any global hotkeys or hotkeys that are being used by some other program to avoid problems.
It is not possible to make ML invisible and still use keys to run programs because ML needs to capture the keys. ML needs to be the active window and visible to capture keys like any other program. Since the keys used to run programs are regular keys (eg. F1-F10, QWERTY…, 123 …) it is not possible.
If your preference is to not see the big window pop-up, you can try to make the window as small as possible and move it to a corner.
I created ML because I was getting annoyed at hovering over icons and waiting, just to see the file name/description; in other launchers. I would suggest trying to use it with the window size showing all the buttons.
Try changing the hotkey via [Settings], [Hotkey].

I really find it dangerous to enable hotkeys while the launcher is not visible, as some keyboards and programs come with their own keyboard shortcuts and the user may have already memorized their own daily shortcuts.
That is, there is a lot of information to activate a click without a visible orientation, and I think that's the ML concept. To launch commands with memorized key combinations without visual support, there is another very useful category of applications, such as Hotkeyplus, Autohotkey and ClassicShell.
