Everytime I click onto a button with a no longer correct or no longer existing address, Maxlauncher crashes, not stopping, to where it can be called up only to quickly go away, no longer staying up long enough to display buttons.
Sometimes this is simply remedied by choosing (in System Explorer) to Restart the application (Maxlauncher), then at other times it might take Ending the process of Maxlauncher and starting directly for Maxlauncher exe file and having it run as administrator.
If this can be fixed, maybe it could tell you "This link no longer exists" or something like that. It takes up precious time, adding frustration, so am hoping you can fix. I knew of this for many months, with not wanting to bother you and or take time to write again, am very sick with a cold now, so have lots of time on my hands.

    K. I think I understand what you are talking about now. After clicking a button that displays an error, when you click on the tray icon or use the hotkey, the window displays briefly and disappears again. Please confirm.

The behavior is not a crash. It is a bug. Sorry! A crash is if the program stops responding or if it displays a fatal error.

Anyway, I made the necessary changes. I will try to compile a test version tomorrow after I run a few more tests.

FYI, that part of the program is quite complicated. It is mainly caused by the Show In Taskbar option being off. It interacts with several parts that needs to work perfectly in order.

That is exactly what I was talking about. Try the following version:
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/maxlauncher/files/MaxLauncher/Beta/1.4.6289.26082/

The above version also has basic support for multiple screens. Basically, the MaxLauncher window and the program window being launched will show up where the mouse cursor is.

I haven't fully tested this version but I have been using it. It takes me a while to test since I don't have the resources to do so.

Please don't hesitate to "bother" me if you experience a problem. Thanks for your time and get well soon. :-)
