Hmmm.... Single left-click on the tray/notification icon works fine on mine.
**List of .Net versions installed
Can you open Powershell as Administrator and run the following:
Get-ChildItem 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP' -Recurse | Get-ItemProperty -Name version -EA 0 | Where { $_.PSChildName -Match '^(?!S)\p{L}'} | Select PSChildName, version
I can't think of a simple answer. MaxLauncher should work with Win10 even without installing any .Net version because it natively comes with 4.6. and MaxLauncher should work with .Net 4.0-4.8 even without installing 3.5 or turning it on in Control Panel/Program and Features.
Also, can you try the 1.27.0.0 and 1.26.0.0 portable versions and see if it works?!
Thanks.

FYI, there is an Option called "Double-click mouse to launch" which requires a quick double-click or two clicks on the same button. This functionality is mainly for users who use screen-readers. The first click would read the button and the second would launch it.
