Expand the cases recognized by COERCE-FLOAT-FUN. The following are recognized:
a symbol (name of a Lisp function, Maxima function, DEFMSPEC,
Maxima macro, string which is the name of a Maxima operator, or simplifying
function), Maxima lambda expression, and general Maxima expression.
(The DEFMSPEC, macro, string name of operator, and simplifying function
