1 - How would I prepare for typesetting?
2 - And by "typesetting" I'm guessing you mean placing the calculations into a program that can be printed... like Microsoft Word, Libre Office, Google Docs or whatever... right?3 - And then sent to your printing device or saved as a PDF for a commercial printer... correct?

However, I suggest you use v0, v1,  etc. Why? They are simpler to type, they are more compact, notusing more vertical space, and you are not using them for anything else.

simplest is probably just v[1].    but if you assign a value to v[1]  say   v[1]:100,  then typingv[1] will display as 100.  'v[1]  may do what you want.
