[Maxima-discuss] Looking for the latest version?

Hi,

 

Is there a particular reason why "Looking for the latest version?" on top of the Maxima download site for the Windows
installers https://sourceforge.net/projects/maxima/files/Maxima-Windows/ is still set to 5.38.1 ? From the download
counter one can see, that almost 1/3 of the recent downloads are of 5.38.1 and not of 5.40.0, apparently due to this
information. I can't imagine that this is in the interest of Maxima or its users.
