I can not get save(...) to make a file that is compatible with load(...) 
unless I name the file <something>.lisp

save("myfile.lisp",all);
kill(all);

load("myfile.lisp"); /* works */
eq;
save("myfile.mac",all);

load("myfile.mac");

I get the error

stdin:1:incorrect syntax: Premature termination of input at ;.
