#2698 emaxima gobbles up spaces after \maximaoutput

emaxima.sty has a bug: after \maximaoutput, spaces are gobbled up so the first line is misaligned. This is particularly problematic for exponents. See the attached minimal example (compile it with LaTeX).

The bug is caused by the LaTeX macro \@ifstar. I will send a fix soon.
