#2401 maxima 5.27.0 debuild fails

System: Ubuntu 12.04, 10.04 (I've tied these.)
The "./configure, make, sudo make install" works correctly, but if I would make deb packages, using debuild I got this message (at the end):

"... Summary:
SBCL enabled. Executable name: "sbcl"
default lisp: sbcl
wish executable name: "wish"
cd && /bin/bash ./config.status Makefile
/bin/bash: ./config.status: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [Makefile] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/blahota/Dokumentumok/sandbox/maxima-5.27.0'
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2
dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2
debuild: fatal error at line 1350:
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -D -us -uc failed"

And here the debuild process stops. It worked with the older maxima versions.

The sytuation is the same with clisp, too.

    What, exactly, are the commands which you are executing? I will give it a try on my system.

    It seems using automake1.9 instead of automake1.10 solved the problem.

    Closing this report since I can't see that there is a problem in Maxima.
