    I think this is due to a problem with the function $facts

    (%i30) limit(x[i],x[i],0);
    1 Enter facts [x[i]]
    Error in SETQ [or a callee]: Bad plist ($I)

    Notice facts(a + b) --> OK, but facts(x[1]) --> bad plist.

    $declare and $facts don't work on subscripted vars - see bugs 1556765, 1488457.
    workaround for limit in limit.lisp rev 1.47, skip call to $facts for subscripted vars.

    (%i47) limit(x[i], x[i], 0);
    (%o47) 0
